This research aims to reveal the role of science, especially physics, in shaping student character in the learning context. With the background of the importance of character education, this research uses a combined qualitative and quantitative approach to explore the impact of physics learning on students' character development. Research instruments, such as questionnaires and interviews, were used to collect data about students' perceptions of the role of science in forming their character. The data was then analyzed using statistical methods and qualitative analysis, providing an in-depth understanding of the relationship between physics learning and student character development. The findings of this study not only provide insight into how physics can shape students' logic, ethics, and social skills, but also identify key factors that support this process. The results of the analysis contribute to the literature on character education and offer recommendations for improving physics learning approaches to more effectively shape student character. It is hoped that this research will provide a basis for educators, policy makers and educational practitioners to develop learning strategies that support the formation of student character through a science approach, especially physics learning, in an effort to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also has character.
