This study aims to describe character values, implementation of character education, and obstacles in implementing character education in Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative . The subject of this research is the class IV teacher. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The main instrument is the researcher using tools in the form of observation guidelines, interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking technique with technical triangulation. The results of the research show that the implementation of character education consists of planning and implementation. The lesson plan used is not made by the teacher himself, but already shows the integration of character education. In terms of implementation, the teacher implements it through learning activities and learning methods, spontaneous activities, cultivating discipline, and creating a conducive atmosphere. In thematic learning the teacher develops and instills nine character values developed by the Ministry of National Education. Obstacles faced by teachers in implementing character education are limited facilities and infrastructure in the form of learning media, learning methods, attitude assessment, and family factors.
