Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes in the experimental class using the metered learning media with the control class using the power point media and to determine the benefits of the mentimeter learning media on student learning outcomes in the history subject of class XI IPA at SMAN 2 Serang City. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the t-test (two-party test) on students' critical thinking skills, the data obtained by the value of t'count = 0.96 and ttable = 2.00 with = 0.05 then there is a difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the experimental class. control. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the average student learning outcomes with the metered learning media in the experimental class students and the average student learning outcomes using power point learning media for the control class students in history learning class XI IPA at SMAN 2 Serang City. . Based on the results of the t-test (left side test) on the N-gain score, the data obtained i????????????g = 4.88 and = 1.67 with = 0.05, it can be concluded that there is the use of the history lesson mentometer media on the learning outcomes of class XI science students. at SMAN 2 Serang City. Mentimeter learning media is recommended for Efforts to Maintain Indonesian Independence because this material is suitable for measuring student learning outcomes.
